Dr Jacob Kaplan

Dr Jacob Kaplan is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon, focusing on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of knee, foot and ankle disorders. He has expansive knowledge in minimally-invasive forefoot surgery, ankle and knee replacements, degenerative and arthritic conditions, deformity correction, fracture treatment, and sporting injuries.

He completed his orthopaedic training in NSW and then underwent subspecialty Knee, Foot and Ankle surgery training in Toronto, Canada.

Driven by a desire to continuously enhance his skills, Dr Kaplan is devoted to lifelong learning. He is involved in international research regarding the development of ankle replacement techniques, helping him remain academically active and current on best orthopaedic practices and evidence-based treatments.

He is an active member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the Canadian and American Foot and Ankle Surgery Societies.
